History and Philosopy
I grew up with a father who was a structural Engineer, journeyman carpenter, cabinet maker, luthier and musician. I made my first double neck electric in the 60's. I love tools and believe that the Golden age Master's would have used any tool that would have made life easier for them. I use Master grade Engleman Spruce from British Columbia and German Spruce (when available). I don't experiment with back and side woods, and use only the best traditional woods available. I build in three styles, Hauser, Fleta and my own. 2009 Do to open heart surgery, I'm taking my retirement a little more seriously. I won't take orders for guitars anymore but do produce 2 or 3 a year. I have an apprentice I work with and hope he will be ready in the near future to take over......... Thank you for your support over the years Daryl Buddecke
